Week 1: knowing the evolution of teachers' tools

My initial impression was how important the use of technology  has been in teaching are since 1960s, and how CALL has become more important with the past of the time. Something I want to remember is the importance of the use of CALL in the last 30 years, and how in the future CALL will become more important in all teaching foreign language areas.

Reading the article, a belief of mine was confirmed, I always have believed that the technologic is important for students to developing grammar, listening, writing and speaking skills as well as for teachers is important to create better classes, and to teach more effectively.  Something I learned and that every teacher should know is CALL, his functions, and how to use it on classes. I know some teachers are continue teaching in a traditional way, but I think they must to do a change and see the advantage of CALL.

Something I want to share with a college is how CALL at the beginning in 1960s was limited just for texts, but now it has become in a multimedia program, and in next years for us as future teachers CALL will become in an important tool to teach foreign languages. After read the article some questions have come up to me. In the future will not be necessary being a teacher to teach through a computer? and in the future CALL will replace the teachers and will be autonomous?. I think those questions will be just answer with the pass of the years. – Four stars.
